    Flashforge Natural PVA 1.75mm 500g

    FLASH PVA 500G
This is a 0.5kg 1.75mm roll of PVA filament as made by Flashforge. This material is water soluble, making it absolutely invaluable as a support structure for 3D printers that work with multiple materials. Simply use this filament as the support material when printing an incredibly complicated 3D object, then place the object in water for 24 hours while occasionally agitating it to have the support structures simply melt away!

PVA filament is ideal for lower temperature printing, typically between 190-220 degrees, and doesn't require a heated bed. To prevent baking, it's crucial to set a high retraction value when not in use. It readily absorbs moisture, so store it in an airtight bag with the included silica gel sachet. These spools are compatible with most 3D printers due to their size. They work with 1.75mm printers but may need an external spool holder. Flashforge's upgraded formulation minimizes printing issues and allows longer storage without quality loss.

Picture of MakerBot PLA 1kg Spool of 1.75 mm Filament Range

MakerBot PLA 1kg Spool of 1.75 mm Filament Range

    MB PLA 1KG 1.75MM-RANGE
This 1.75 mm filament is optimized for the MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer.

PLA is a renewable bioplastic that sticks to the platform reliably with practically no peeling, curling, sliding, or shrinking, creating professional-quality models and prototypes.

Every filament colour is comprehensively quality tested at both 100-micron and 200-micron layer resolutions on the MakerBot Replicator 2 to verify that the filament will perform every feature that MakerBot MakerWare software offers and reliably slice and print every type of printing. If you’re new to 3D printing, MakerBot PLA Filament is a good material to start with because it’s easy to use and performs well on most prints.

MakerBot PLA Filament adheres well to acrylic and to blue painter’s tape. Prints with a large bottom layer may have a tendency to curl. To prevent curling, use rafts. Store MakerBot PLA Filament in a cool, dry place as it can absorb moisture from the air and long-term exposure to humidity can compromise filament quality and performances. Be sure your build plate is level, clean and oil-free before printing.

Picture of Rough Cut Laser Engraving Slate Sign

Rough Cut Laser Engraving Slate Sign

    KI 5520
These stylish high quality natural rough-cut vertical slate signs, measuring 200mm x 150mm, look great hanging in a window, on a wall or anywhere else you might care to put up a sign. Not only do they look stylish and sleek, but they are also durable, and practical, and will naturally draw the eye wherever they are put. Although stone/slate cannot be cut with a CO2 laser, they can be laser engraved, which makes for a unique long-term sign. They can also be written on with chalk for information of a more temporary nature, when done just give them a wipe with warm water, with a touch of detergent if heavily soiled, and they are as good as new. Supplied as a pack of 1.

Made from natural slate these stylish signs will maintain their look long-term, but if they do start to fade with age, they can be brought back to life with a little olive oil. Alternatively, a coat of lacquer can really make a difference to the hue, though we are still determining if this will make use with chalk less than perfect. A coat of lacquer, prior to laser engraving, will also help to improve the contrast of the laser engraving.

  • These stylish high-quality natural rough-cut vertical slate signs will look great in any location.
  • They are durable, practical, and resistant to scratching and staining.
  • Personalise them with CO2 laser engraving, a coat of lacquer will help improve the contrast.
  • They can easily be wiped clean with warm water, or warm water mixed with a small amount of mild detergent.
  • The perfect gift for someone special!
  • If they fade over time they can easily be brought back to life with a little olive oil.
  • An even coat of lacquer can have a dramatic positive effect on their look.
