The Clairefontaine Kraft paper pad is glued on top edge, widely used for quick sketching, mainly aimed at dry techniques (charcoal, pencil, pastels) but is also suitable for wet techniques such as ink, gouache and acrylic painting. Kraft paper is indeed very resistant and does not tear on wet technique. Paper is 90gsm with a brown natural look.

The paper is machine glazed, with the texture being more pronounced on one side than the other. It is made with natural unbleached virgin fibres.
