Cork is naturally water-resistant, highly durable, and offers excellent elasticity and compression properties. Its superior thermal, acoustic, and anti-vibration resistance makes it a valuable material for various projects.
Common uses include coasters, mouse mats, insulation, vibration dampening, protective layers, gaskets, business cards, and more. Cork’s unique properties also enhance the tactile feel of products and provide a sustainable alternative to synthetic materials.
While cork is slow to burn when exposed to a persistent ignition source, it does not spread flames or release toxic fumes, making it a safer option for many applications.
