More Information
The Kitronik Lesson in a Box – The Environment gives students a practical way to explore the connections between technology, plant growth and the environment. Students can develop their coding skills, investigate growing conditions and design solutions for different environments.
Developed by teachers and tested by pupils, this classroom pack includes 10 student sets and one teacher set, alongside structured teaching resources to help reduce preparation time. The reusable equipment supports lessons across Computing, Design & Technology and Biology, as well as STEM projects and enrichment activities.
Explore three subject areas
-
Computing: Develop greenhouse software and explore data collection, analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
-

-
Biology: Explore factors affecting photosynthesis, including the impact of light on plant growth.
Teaching resources included
The supplied 2GB USB drive contains lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, worksheets, software guides, assessment questions and example code. Technician’s notes, setup guidance and a greenhouse build video help support assembly and classroom use.
