More Information
Arriving end of October: Flashforge Creator 5 Pro 3D Printer
The Flashforge Creator 5 Pro takes multi-colour and multi-material 3D printing to a new level with four independent toolheads. Unlike systems that repeatedly feed different filaments through a single nozzle, the Creator 5 Pro can switch between dedicated toolheads, helping to significantly reduce material waste while speeding up complex multi-colour printing. Flashforge states that its system can deliver multi-colour printing up to 500% faster, depending on the print job.
With its fully enclosed design, actively heated chamber and extensive material compatibility, the Creator 5 Pro is particularly suited to schools, colleges, engineering departments, design studios, makerspaces and professional prototyping environments.
Four Independent Toolheads
Four independent toolheads allow different colours or compatible materials to be used within the same print. This opens up considerably more possibilities for prototypes, educational models and functional components, including the use of dedicated support materials alongside the main model material.
The independent-toolhead design also avoids the large purge towers commonly associated with single-nozzle multi-colour systems, helping to reduce filament waste.
High-Speed 3D Printing
Designed for demanding workflows, the Creator 5 Pro offers travel speeds of up to 600mm/s, print speeds up to 300mm/s and acceleration up to 30,000mm/s². Automatic multi-toolhead offset calibration, automatic bed levelling and dynamic flow calibration help maintain accuracy while simplifying setup.
Actively Heated Enclosed Chamber
The fully enclosed build chamber can be actively heated to 65°C, helping maintain a controlled printing environment and reducing problems such as warping, cracking and layer separation when working with temperature-sensitive engineering materials.
For lower-temperature materials, the printer also incorporates auxiliary cooling and controlled airflow.
Extensive Material Compatibility
With nozzle temperatures reaching 320°C, a heated bed up to 120°C and its temperature-controlled enclosure, the Creator 5 Pro supports an extensive range of standard and engineering filaments.
Supported and recommended materials include PLA, PETG, TPU, Silk PLA, ABS, ASA, PVA, BVOH and a range of carbon-fibre and glass-fibre reinforced engineering materials, subject to the appropriate printing configuration.
Enclosed & Filtered Printing
The enclosed design helps isolate the printing area while maintaining a stable internal environment. Air filtration combines a HEPA13 filter with activated carbon, while front-door and top-cover detection provide additional operational safeguards.
