The ELECFREAKS micro:bit Smart Home Kit introduces learners to programming and electronics through practical smart home projects. Using a micro with the included Sensor expansion board, students can connect sensors and program components to respond to changes in their surroundings.
Create sound-activated lights, build an automatic window or program a temperature-controlled fan. These projects give learners a practical way to explore how sensor inputs can control lights, movement and other outputs.
The kit supports MakeCode, Python and JavaScript, with 11 example projects available through ELECFREAKS’ online learning resources.
