ELECFREAKS micro:bit Experiment Box

The ELECFREAKS micro Experiment Box, also known as the Smart Science Box, helps learners investigate electronics through hands-on experiments. It brings together sensors, lights, motors and circuit components in one teaching kit for classroom science and STEM activities.

Components include a temperature sensor, photocell, servo, motor and LEDs, alongside a MOSFET transistor, resistors and a trimpot. Learners can explore how these components work together, then use programming to control how their circuits respond.

Banana plug connections make it easy to connect components and rearrange circuits between activities. Projects include a button-activated LED, light sensing and motor speed control using a trimpot. The box also supports circuit-building activities without a micro.

A printed guide provides step-by-step instructions for the experiments, with further learning resources available through the ELECFREAKS Wiki. For coding activities, the kit supports MakeCode, Python and JavaScript.

A standard delivery charge of €6.95 will be applied to the majority of orders under €150. We usually don't charge delivery for orders over €150. Other charges may apply if heavier products (clay, plaster, reams of paper etc) or large equipment (desks, cabinets etc) are ordered, but we will notify you before the invoice is issued and goods are dispatched.
