Bee-Bot / Blue-Bot Transparent Grid Mat

The Bee-Bot / Blue-Bot Transparent Grid Mat gives teachers the flexibility to create customised programming activities for different lessons, topics and ability levels.

The transparent mat features a 4 × 4 grid of 15 cm squares, matching the movement increments used by Bee-Bot and Blue-Bot. Teachers can place pictures, vocabulary cards, numbers, maps, pupils' work or other resources underneath the mat and ask children to plan and program a route to the correct destination.

It can also be positioned over suitable existing maps or classroom resources, making it particularly useful for cross-curricular activities. Children might program Bee-Bot to travel to the answer to a maths question, find a particular letter or word, visit locations on a map, or follow a sequence created by another group. TTS specifically recommends using 2D materials beneath the transparent mat and highlights its suitability for pupils designing their own Bee-Bot mats.

A standard delivery charge of €6.95 will be applied to the majority of orders under €150. We usually don't charge delivery for orders over €150. Other charges may apply if heavier products (clay, plaster, reams of paper etc) or large equipment (desks, cabinets etc) are ordered, but we will notify you before the invoice is issued and goods are dispatched.
