The Bee-Bot / Blue-Bot Seaside Mat provides an engaging setting for hands-on programming activities, allowing pupils to navigate Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot around a colourful seaside town.

Children can plan journeys between different locations on the mat before programming their robot to follow the route. This provides a practical way to introduce sequencing, algorithms, directional language and debugging, as pupils predict where their robot will travel, test their instructions and make changes where necessary.
