The WhalesBot AI Module 5S provides teachers with a complete classroom robotics platform, combining 520 structural components with a wide range of programmable sensors and actuators. This allows students to move beyond simple builds and explore authentic engineering and AI concepts in a structured way.
The kit supports investigation of:
- Ultrasonic distance sensing for obstacle detection projects
- Colour recognition and line-following challenges
- Temperature and humidity monitoring for environmental STEM activities
- Gesture and touch-based interaction systems
- Rotary encoder feedback for precision motor control
With 4 closed-loop motors, dual RGB lights and dot matrix displays, teachers can introduce automation, feedback systems and real-world control logic through hands-on, project-based learning.
Programming & Classroom Implementation
The AI Module 5S supports progressive coding instruction across upper primary and secondary levels. Teachers can introduce programming using Scratch (block-based coding) before progressing students to C or Python for more advanced computer science and AI learning.
The controller features a 240MHz processor, 4MB flash memory and 224KB RAM, allowing students to write, download and run programs directly on the device without requiring constant computer connection.

A standard delivery charge of €6.95 will be applied to the majority of orders under €150. We usually don't charge delivery for orders over €150. Other charges may apply if heavier products (clay, plaster, reams of paper etc) or large equipment (desks, cabinets etc) are ordered, but we will notify you before the invoice is issued and goods are dispatched.
