The WhalesBot Eagle 1003 integrates multiple onboard sensors to support safe, stable and programmable flight.

• AI Image Sensor – Enables intelligent visual recognition capabilities
• Optical Flow Sensor – Provides stable hovering and indoor positioning
• Laser Range Sensor – Measures distance for obstacle awareness
• 6-Axis Gyroscope – Maintains balance and flight stability
• Barometric Pressure Sensor – Assists with altitude control

These integrated systems allow teachers to introduce key concepts such as sensor fusion, stabilisation algorithms and autonomous flight.

Programmable Flight & Control

The Eagle 1003 can be controlled via a dedicated remote controller or programmed using block-based coding. This allows students to move from manual flight to designing their own autonomous routines.

Using coding, students can create:

• Pre-set flight paths
• Automated take-off and landing routines
• Sensor-triggered responses
• Simple AI-driven behaviours

This supports progression from introductory coding to more advanced STEM learning.

A standard delivery charge of €6.95 will be applied to the majority of orders under €150. We usually don't charge delivery for orders over €150. Other charges may apply if heavier products (clay, plaster, reams of paper etc) or large equipment (desks, cabinets etc) are ordered, but we will notify you before the invoice is issued and goods are dispatched.
