The Blue-Bot Programmable Floor Robot 6 Pack provides schools with a versatile, hands-on way to teach coding and computational thinking, with six robots allowing pupils to work collaboratively in pairs or small groups.

Blue-Bot builds on the familiar Bee-Bot concept by adding Bluetooth connectivity. Pupils can program movements directly using the buttons on the robot or connect wirelessly to a compatible tablet or computer, providing opportunities to progress from simple physical programming to more advanced on-screen coding activities.

Each Blue-Bot features a transparent shell, allowing pupils to see some of the components inside and encouraging conversations about robotics and how technology works. The robot can store sequences of up to 200 steps, giving teachers plenty of scope to progress from short introductory routes to more challenging programming tasks.

Blue-Bot can also interact with other Blue-Bots and Bee-Bots. Pupils can record their own sounds, including audio associated with command buttons, adding another interactive element to programming activities.

With six robots in the pack, teachers can involve more pupils directly in each activity. Groups can plan routes, create algorithms, test their programs and identify errors together, helping to develop logical reasoning, communication, problem-solving and debugging skills.

The robots are rechargeable, and importantly, the 6 Pack includes a docking station, providing a convenient way to charge and store the classroom set together. TTS specifically identifies the free docking station as part of its six-pack offering.
