ELECFREAKS micro:bit Tinker Kit

The ELECFREAKS micro Tinker Kit introduces learners to coding, sensors and electronic circuits through practical projects. Its range of Octopus modules lets pupils experiment with how code interacts with physical components, creating projects such as a smart light, a soil moisture detector or a waving fortune cat.

At the centre of the kit is the Octopus breakout board, which provides access to the micro’s GPIO, serial, I²C and SPI connections. Level switching on selected GPIO ports allows the board to work with compatible 5V sensors.

Learners can start with MakeCode blocks or explore text-based programming using Python and JavaScript. The ELECFREAKS Wiki provides tutorials and project guidance to support classroom activities and independent exploration.

With 23 electronic modules and 39 project examples, the kit offers a variety of activities for developing coding, problem-solving and electronics skills.

A standard delivery charge of €6.95 will be applied to the majority of orders under €150. We usually don't charge delivery for orders over €150. Other charges may apply if heavier products (clay, plaster, reams of paper etc) or large equipment (desks, cabinets etc) are ordered, but we will notify you before the invoice is issued and goods are dispatched.
