V5 Smart Cables allow robot components such as motors and sensors to communicate with the Robot Brain. These are available to purchase at pre-cut short and long assortments, or create your own custom length wires with the V5 Crimping tool!
Connection V5 Smart Cables are used to connect the V5 Robot Brain to V5 Radio, V5 Motor, Vision Sensor, and other smart devices. V5 Smart Cables can also be used to tether a V5 Robot Brain to a V5 Controller, and to connect a V5 Controller to a second Controller for partnered driving.
The V5 Smart Motor is more than twice as powerful as the 2-Wire motor 393, and puts an integrated encoder and a motor controller into one compact package. Customize speed and torque with interchangeable gear cartridges.
Use the built-in encoder to track a robot's rotational position and velocity
Ships with the standard gear cartridge of 18:1 (200 RPM)
Cartridges for 36:1 (100 RPM) ; 6:1 (600 RPM) are also available
Compatible with both VEX EDR shaft sizes
The motor runs at a slightly lower voltage than the batteries minimum voltage, and the motor's power is accurately controlled to +/-1%. This means the motor will perform the same for every match and every autonomous run regardless of battery charge or motor temperature.
Mechanisms such as flywheels and arms do not need large external gear ratios if the output shaft speed of the driving motor is already close to the desired speed or torque. Therefore, changing internal gear ratios to fit specific needs allows more efficient and compact mechanisms to be designed.
This cartridge has a 18:1 ratio, giving a maximum output speed of speed of 200 rpm. It is the standard gear ratio supplied in a V5 Smart Motor and is ideal for drive train applications.

The VEXnet Backup Battery allows you to mount and connect (1) 9V battery. This battery keep VEXnet alive when the main battery fails. Works with the VEX Cortex Microcontroller. Works with the VEX ARM9 Microcontroller. The kit contains: (1) Backup Battery Holder (1) Backup Battery Cable Uses (1) 9V battery (not included)
The VEXnet Joystick is the most intuitive way to wirelessly control a VEX EDR robot. With a familiar layout inspired by video game controllers, the VEXnet Joystick features a 2-axis accelerometer, 8 face buttons, and 4 "trigger" buttons. Powered by AAA batteries or through the VEXnet Joystick Power Adapter.
Have a lot of moving parts on your robot? Simply connect the Partner Joystick to the VEXnet Joystick using a Coiled Handset Cable and divide command between two separate operators! Great for building teamwork or for complex robots.
NOTE:VEXnet Joystick and Partner Joystick contain the associated controllers ONLY. Six (6)AAA batteriesor apower adapterare required for operation, and aVEXnet Key 2.0is required for wireless communication.

License plates and identification numbers for teams competing in the VEX Robotics Competition. Red ; blue colors serve as alliance indicators as well as ID plates Attaches using standard VEX EDR screws and nuts or VEX IQ pins Plates come blank and are fullycustomisable
Pull it up. This kit provides the ability to implement a winch and pulley system and create block and tackle mechanisms toutilisemechanical advantage. Lift, lower, hang, drag and more. Configurable for many applications. Ratchet and Pawl can be engaged to prevent back driving.
Enhances autonomous movement and feedback from a VEX robot by detecting a robot';s rotation from its origin on a single axis. Single-axis gyroscopic sensor Detects a rotation of up to + / - 1000 degrees per second Connects to analog inputs on VEX ARM® Cortex®-based Microcontroller Connecting the Yaw Rate Gyroscope Connect the Yaw Rate Gyro to an analog input on the VEX Microcontroller using a standard servo extension cable. The black (ground) wire goes adjacent to the 'B' silkscreened on the board. The center wire is for +5 volts. The white wire is signal. The mounting holes are electrically isolated from the circuit.
VEXpro VersaHubs provide frustration-free torque transfer between wheels, gears, sprockets, and shafts.
Got a 1/2" Hex that you need to put a plate sprocket on? No problem. Need to mount a 64-tooth gear to your Mecanum Wheel? We can do that. Whatever your need, these hubs will help you integrate everything together seamlessly.
Most of the wheels and sprockets that teams typically use (including the previous generation of VEXpro wheels) don't take piloting into account. We wanted to make sure that everything pilots correctly... every time. Wheels, hubs, gears, sprockets… they all work together.
VersaHubs include the innovative VersaKey mounting system -- VersaKeys transfer torque between coaxial items, and also ensure everything is piloted correctly.
VersaHex Adapters allows you to change any 1/2" Hex Bore product to either a 3/8" hex or 1/4" square shaft. This means that you can run a GT2 pulley on a 3/8" Hex Shaft, or a VEXpro Hub Sprocket on a VEX V5 High Strength Shaft.

Doesn't crack under the pressure of competition like other compliant wheels. Developed in collaboration with West Coast Products, Straight Flex Wheels are for use with intakes, conveyor systems and shooters.
Flex Wheels are made of a super tough custom blend of silicone rubber - different than any other flexible or compliant wheel currently used by FTC or FRC teams. Each of our four wheel diameters are offered in 3 different durometers: the super soft 30A in light gray, the medium hardness 45A in dark gray and the hardest 60A in black. The varying hardnesses can be used to change the traction and compliance of your mechanism.
