VEX Robotics is educational robotics for everyone. VEX solutions span all levels of both formal and informal education with accessible, scalable, and affordable solutions. Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving among groups. It allows educators of all types to engage and inspire the STEM problem solvers of tomorrow!
VEX GO is built for teaching STEM fundamentals to students (age 7-11). GO Education Bundles make STEM manageable for teachers and fun for students.
Education Bundles are the perfect solution for individual STEM classrooms. They can also be shared between two to six classrooms throughout the school year. The bundles contain everything educators need to get started and succeed.
Block based coding is easy for young coders with VEXcode. Available for Tablets, Chromebooks, Macs and PCs.
VEXpro VersaHubs provide frustration-free torque transfer between wheels, gears, sprockets, and shafts. Got a 1/2" Hex that you need to put a plate sprocket on? No problem. Need to mount a 64-tooth gear to your Mecanum Wheel? We can do that. Whatever your need, these hubs will help you integrate everything together seamlessly.
Most of the wheels and sprockets that teams typically use (including the previous generation of VEXpro wheels) don't take piloting into account. We wanted to make sure that everything pilots correctly... every time. Wheels, hubs, gears, sprockets… they all work together.
VersaHubs include the innovative VersaKey mounting system -- VersaKeys transfer torque between coaxial items, and also ensure everything is piloted correctly.
This Bumper Switch requires a lower spring force than the pre-existing Bumper Switch. Great for low force applications! Provides feedback to the brain as events "happen" Low force switch can detect light touch Use to detect walls or limit an arms motion
A standoff is used in mechanics and electronics to separate two parts from one another while creating a rigid connection. All VEX Standoffs have 8-32 threads. Hex size is 0.250" across the flats. Light weight aluminum. Various lengths available.

There's nothing more frustrating than a screw with a stripped head. With VEX Star Drive Screws, this becomes a thing of the past. These star drive screws are able to withstand a greater amount of torque than standard hexagonal VEX screws, allowing builders to truly 'lock down' their mechanisms. Locking type Length 12.7mm (0.5 in.) T15 star head Use to bolt metal to other parts High strength stainless steel 8-32 thread Supplied in packs of 100

There's nothing more frustrating than a stripped screw. With VEX V5 Star Drive Screws, this becomes a thing of the past. These grade 8 screws were designed to withstand a great amount of torque, which allows builders to truly "lock down" their mechanisms.
Locking screws have been coated with a thread locker to help keep them locked into place. A locking screw can be installed 10-15 times and still retain a firm lock.

These tiles were specifically designed to prevent Electrostatic Buildup. In our testing, Anti-Static Tiles consistently showed little to no static buildup at all! These tiles are also reversible, essentially doubling their lifetime, and allowing for much quicker field assembly.
It should be noted that these Anti-Static tiles will NOT interlock with pre-existing Foam Tiles, but otherwise are practically identical. They are functionally equivalent, and any minor differences that do exist (color, thickness, Coefficient of Friction, etc.) are extremely negligible, and should not impact robot-field interaction.
Interlocking 2' x 2' Foam Tiles used to construct a VEX Robotics Competition field. These tiles are resistant to Electrostatic Discharge. 36 Tiles are required for a standard VRC Field. Field perimeter & hardware not included.
Cube Kit Code VEX 228-4967 A set of 3-inch cubes that can be used as part of VEX IQ Challenge Highrise, to build a color-sorter, or disassembled and used on a robot. (6) Red Cubes (6) Blue Cubes (6) Green Cubes Note: A full Highrise field uses (2) Cube Kits. Size:3" x 3" x 3" (76.2mm x 76.2mm x 76.2mm)
Convenient storage bins and trays for VEX IQ and V5 items. Bin dimensions: 53cm x 33cm x 17cm Tray subdivides parts into 13 sections of varying size Bin also functions as the correct size for VEX V5 components e.g same size as V5 classroom starter kit 276-6500, 276-6510, 276-7110
The Super Kit takes educational robotics to the next level. Students can use the familiar handheld Controller with the pre-programmed code to drive robots right out of the box, or program them to run autonomously using the additional Smart Sensors. While the included Clawbot IQ instructions help students easily build their first robot, the wide variety of additional included parts means that a team of students can build a robot that is bigger, stronger, and more functional. Over 850 Structural & Motion Components 4 Smart Motors, 7 Sensors, Robot Brain, Controller & Batteries Included Storage Bin & Tray included for organized storage of all parts The Super Kit is an all encompassing introduction to STEM and robotics. VEX IQ robots can be immediately driven using the hand held VEX Controller and built-in programs. VEX IQ sensors, including a colour sensor, gyroscope and potentiometer allow for advanced robots and teaching opportunities. Robots can be programmed via a computer and Modkit graphical programming software, Robot Mesh Python or ROBOTC. The included Smart Motors and full range of sensors provide significant learning opportunities. All VEX IQ Starter Kits come with FREE programming software included. Modkit will be familiar to users of Scratch and it can now be installed as a standalone application or as an iPad app on as many machines as you like. For more advanced users, ROBOTC is a feature-rich environment with both graphical and text interfaces which means your robot designs are never constrained by the capabilities of the programming language.
The number of installations is unlimited, so it can be installed across your site as well as giving students the capability to install and use the software at home.
Use the VEX IQ Engineering Notebook to document the design, construction, and iteration of a classroom or competition robot. (40) blank entry pages (plus helpful examples and guides) 3-hole drilled for binder storage Commonly used formulas and rulers available for easy reference

The IQ Optical Sensor is a combination of ambient light, color, proximity and gesture sensor. Color information is available as RGB, hue and saturation or grayscale. Color detection works best when the object is closer than 100mm. The proximity sensor measures reflected light intensity, and as such, the values will change with ambient light and object reflectivity. The Optical Sensor has a white LED to assist color detection in low light conditions. The gesture sensor can detect one of four possible gestures, an object (hand or otherwise) moving up, down, left or right over the sensor. The IQ Optical Sensor works with both IQ Robot Brains (1st and 2nd generation).
Note: The IQ Optical Sensor replaces all the functionality of theVEX IQ Color Sensor (2283012)
The Smart Motor does more than just make your wheels spin or arm move. The built in processor, quadrature encoder and current monitor allow for advanced control and feedback through the Robot Brain. Command speed, direction, time, revolutions and degrees Mounts directly to VEX IQ structural components Command motors up to 3,000 times/second Encoder resolution is 0.375 degrees Supports event programming to simplify software The Smart Motor module converts electrical energy from the battery into rotational energy. Motors are the heart of robots, turning wheels, moving arms, and closing claws. The motors square output socket makes connecting the output shafts easy.
The IQ Robot Brain is the heart of every VEX IQ robot. Students and teachers can run programs and get important feedback in real-time.
