Picture of Active Cooler for Pi5

    Active Cooler for Pi5

    RP SC1148
The Raspberry Pi Active Cooler provides an alternative cooling solution for users who wish to use their Raspberry Pi 5 under sustained heavy load without a case.

The Active Cooler combines a large metal heatsink with a high-quality variable-speed blower fan, powered and controlled via the fan connector on the Raspberry Pi 5, attached to the board via sprung pins into the dedicated pair of mounting holes.

As the heat from the Pi 5 CPU spreads across the heatsink body and fins, the blower fan pushes cool air over them to keep your Raspberry Pi 5 running at optimal thermal levels. The cooler uses thermal pads to create a solid thermal connection with the Raspberry Pi 5.

The fan is software-controlled, allowing it to remain off (and therefore silent) until temperatures reach the specified threshold.

    Features
  • Compatible with Raspberry Pi 5
  • Large metal 'finned' heatsink combined with a high-quality blower fan
  • Fan fitting compatible with the Raspberry Pi 5 fan connector
  • Variable speed fan (software/temperature controlled)
  • Uses the Raspberry Pi 5 heatsink mount holes
  • Thermal pads included (pre-fitted)

Picture of 40-pin GPIO Ribbon Cable for Raspberry Pi

40-pin GPIO Ribbon Cable for Raspberry Pi

    PIM CAB0505
This 175mm long GPIO (general purpose input/output) ribbon cable lets you extend the reach of your Raspberry Pi's pins, bridging them out to other boards or PCBs. The Raspberry Pi's GPIO can be used for all sorts: twiddling pins on or off, providing 3.3V or 5V power, communicating with I2C or SPI devices, and much more. This cable gives you a bit more flexibility in where you route those signals.

  • 175mm long x 51mm wide
  • 40 wires, 2x20 pin female connectors
  • Pin 1 is marked by the white/pink wire

  • Note: Be careful to connect this cable to your board the correct way around. You can't use it with a male header to connect to a HAT's female header, as the pins will be mirrored. You'll risk damaging both your board and your Raspberry Pi if you connect the cable incorrectly so, if in doubt, check the order of the pins on the connector with a multimeter before connecting things up!

Raspberry Pi Display Adapter Cable for Pi5

    RP SC1131
The Raspberry Pi 5 provides two MIPI connectors to use with displays (DSI) or camera modules. These connectors are smaller than previous generations of Raspberry Pi, so you'll need one of these adapter cables to use your Raspberry Pi touchscreen display.

These camera adapter cables have a 22-way 0.5mm-pitch connection at one end (for the Raspberry Pi 5 end), and a 15-way 1mm-pitch connector at the other (for your camera). These cables have CAMERA clearly printed on them so that you don't get them mixed up with the very similar-looking display cables.

    Features
  • Camera adapter cable for Raspberry Pi 5
  • For use with camera modules only (not compatible with DSI displays)
  • 22-way 0.5mm pitch to 15-way 1mm-pitch
