RoHS Compliant square, 36-way single-row pin, with 2.54mm spacing. They are suitable for our Kitronik Breakout Boards, as well as for programming applications, wire-wrapping, and connector applications.
The pin headers are compatible with other PCB interconnection systems that use jumper links. This strip can easily be cut down to any length required.
With this, the latest version of Kitronik's Tipper Truck add-on for :MOVE mini MK2 for the BBC microbit, everyone's favourite little programmable robot buggy just got much better. Robots often do more than just :MOVE from A to B, and with this add-on so can :MOVE mini. Although this add on has been designed to work with :MOVE mini MK2 it can also be fitted to the original :MOVE mini. Kitronik have produced two sets of build instructions as there is a slightly different procedure for each. The MK1 and MK2 build instructions can both be found in the resources section below.
This self assembly Tipper Truck add-on kit is made from the same materials as :MOVE mini, designed in keeping with the :MOVE mini aesthetic, and also comes with the servo required to move the Tipper Truck trailer up and down. There is a very simple Servo:Lite board hack that enables the control of the third servo, you can find out how here. Once the kit is fully assembled, the Tipper Truck can be coded with the Microsoft MakeCode Editor.
Note:In order to use this accessory you must enable the third servo functionality to be able to connect the third servo to the Servo:Lite board, some soldering is required in order to do this. The header pins required for this are supplied with this kit. Also, enabling the third servo disables the onboard ZIP LEDs. If you undo the third servo hack and return the board to its original state, the onboard ZIP LEDs will be re-enabled. Kitronik have produced a short guide showing how to enable the third servo and how to revert this change, read it here.

The Monk Makes Slider for micro:bit allows you to interact with your micro:bit by sliding a control left and right. The board uses a 10kΩ linear variable resistor (pot) to output a voltage between 0 and 3V that can be measured in your micro:bit programs using one of the micro:bit connections as an analogue input. The kit includes the Slider for micro:bit itself plus a set of 5 alligator clip leads. Comprehensive instructions with example projects are provided as a free download.
You can use the slider board to control other devices connected to the microbit, such as servos. Other uses include volume control, speed control, dimmer slider, and much more.
Add obstacle detection to your robotics, electronics, or Arduino project. This module has been specially selected to work on the voltage range typically found with the Arduino range of products. This economical sensor provides 2cm to 400cm of non-contact measurement functionality with a ranging accuracy that can reach up to 3mm. Each HC-SR04 module includes an ultrasonic transmitter, a receiver and a control circuit.
There are only four pins that you need to worry about on the HC-SR04: VCC, Trig, Echo and GND. VCC and GND are for power and Trig, Echo and GND are for your signal. GND is in with the signal set since it's needed for a baseline. You can easily add this to your project and even use with the microbit if you use a separate 5V power supply.
