Liquitex 237ml Crackle Paste

Creates a crackled texture as it dries on rigid surfaces. Dries to a hard, opaque finish maintains paint adhesion, durability and archival quality. Can be used on its own and painted over once dry. Can be mixed with acrylic colour - using no more than 15% paint to 85% medium.
Apply paste evenly to surface with a palette knife. Leave to dry for at least 24 hours before painting over.
Cracking will vary depending on how thickly you apply it - the effects will be more obvious on thicker applications but will take longer to dry. When using on wood, seal with a base layer of fluid/gel medium and let dry before Crackle Paste application. Use on rigid supports only. Fully compatible with all Liquitex products.

More additive results in a thinner and more transparent color. Gently stir to prevent foam formation; if bubbles appear, allow them to settle and dissipate. Use a brush or sponge to apply it as a light adhesive for collages.
Caution:Avoid shaking vigorously or over-brushing, as this may lead to a cloudy, hazy appearance when dry. Do not use with non-acrylic media.
